My sincere condolences go out to the family and close friends of Irma Baldwin. I met her some time back through her work with animal welfare, and she lit up the room. She brought peace and kindness to all the creatures who knew her, human or otherwise. She will be forever missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of such a special lady! Tommy and I would love to be a part of the celebration of Irma's life but our grandson graduates from high school in Danville on Saturday. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as you celebrate together the years of treasured memories with her. Hold onto those memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness. Please know how very sorry we are and if we could be of any help to the family, we'd be honored. Have hope in tomorrow, have faith in the everlasting, and take comfort in the love of friends and family that are with you on Saturday and those that could not be with you.

I knew Irma in Alaska in 1964. She was a warm beautiful woman full of life. may she rest in peace. My condolences to her entire family and friends. Vic.

Only knowing Irma during my senior year I saw a kind, fun and energetic gal. She was so easy to talk to and just a personality plus. As she’s now on the best journey of her life I am thankful for the memories we created at East High.

When someone we love dies, it leaves a hole in our hearts. This sorrow was felt by Jesus, Mary and Martha when Lazarus their brother died. Jesus said to Martha: “I am the resurrection and the life, He that exercises faith in me even though he dies, will come to life. Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then he proceeded to resurrect Lazarus and he promises to resurrect all those in the memorial tombs. Please read John 5:28,29 in your Bible and may this hope bring your family comfort.

I would say Mrs Bladwin was an inspiration to all. Keep trying, when negative things happen, I am sure she said to herself. I pray for the family that each of you will comfort each other. You have so many good memories to tap into when your days are low. I pray that when you are stress this Psalm will help. "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Psalm 46:1
