Nancy Umberger was a special lady to me in my 20's. In my first year of teaching at Southeast Junior High School, Nancy told me straight away that she never took school work home, that the after school hours were reserved for her and her family - good advice. She also was the "leader of the group" of us young teachers who bucked the system and all wore pants to work for the first time on a certain day, somewhat against the policy of the principal! She was quite a "rebel" to us, but she was such a sweetheart! I loved the time I had with her. I will pray for your family and remember this lady with a special fondness.
