Obituary of Helen Eversole Etter

Helen “Dan” Eversole Etter age 85 of Wytheville, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Robert Taylor & Elma Jonas Eversole. Dan was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Etter and brother, J.D. Eversole. She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Jane Folden of Pulaski, Alberta “Bert” & Don Arnold of Dublin, Patsy Saferight of Wytheville; brother, Richard “Tish” Eversole of Wytheville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces also survive; best friends, Barbara Marsh, Joyce Mitchell, Nancy Blevins, Rick Walker, Frances Felty.

A graveside service will be 2 PM Monday, July 2, 2018 at West End Cemetery conducted by The Reverend Ted Anders. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 Noon until graveside time at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, home visits, and food, the family request donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Department 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
