Obituary of Janice Euralene Clippard Vaughan

Janice Euralene Clippard Vaughan was born on May 1, 1953, and died on May 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Odessa Coley Clippard, who died in 1987. She is survived by her father, Eural Day Clippard of Wythe County, Virginia and her husband, Gary Vaughan of Lexington, Virginia.

Janice graduated from George Wythe High School and Ferrum College and attended Roanoke College and Virginia Western Community College before graduating from Medical College of Virginia with a degree in pharmacy.

She worked as a pharmacist at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, for a retail pharmacy Beaumont, Texas, for Wythe County Community Hospital, and a retail pharmacy in Buena Vista, Virginia.

She loved her Dalmatian dogs and her cats. Her hobbies included hang weaving and photography.

A memorial service will be held at the residence of her father at 856 Musser’s Mill Road, Crockett. Virginia at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018. A potluck lunch will be at 1 P.M. following the service. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
