Mr Cassell was such a kind and joyful person. Every time we talked to him at the farmers market, he would remark about how fast my daughters were growing or asking how are family is doing. He had the light of Jesus shining every time we saw him. He will be missed. Our thoughts and most sincere prayers are with your family during this time. God Bless!

Mike & I started 1st grade together. He was a great guy throughout his life & his presence on this earth will be missed. I will miss seeing him at Farmers Market. He was always so nice.

Thoughts and prayers out to the Cassell family. I worked with Mike in the 80s and 90s. There was no finer mentor or model of a Extention agent. He has influenced countless 1000s of young Scott county youth. I never saw him in a bad mood. ALWAYs brought a wise humor to the table. i will always Carry a bit of Mike Cassell’s personality with me. Pease and RIP Mike. Welcome home you faithful servant.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Mr. Cassell from the Farmer's Market, where I was a vendor for 2 years. There was never a Saturday morning when he did not greet me with a, "Well, how are YOU this fine mornin'?" And, "Can I give you a hand with that?" as I unloaded my vehicle. What a wonderful man he was, what joy he brought to those around him with his kindness and caring. Our prayers are with you all.
