Sorry to hear of G.C. passing, though not related, we grew up with him and was as part of the family. He and his family had made me fill like one of their own. We loved him very much, as well as the rest of his family. I always enjoyed talking with him and going over the younger days, growing up together, and some of the crazy things we did back then. We would talk about some of the older ones in our community that had passed and gone on. He always liked to talk about the history of our ancestors and our community, and how things had changed since we were kids. We sure will miss him. RIP my dear friend.

Liz, Jackie, Joanna and family,
We love you all so much. I just watched the memorial video and I am in tears. Your Dad was such a rare, REAL person. Nothing fake about him and spoke his mind whether you liked what he had to say or not. This is what I admired most about him. A very tough, but loving man. I'm glad I had the privilege of knowing him. I hope the memories of him and his strength that he put into all of you get you through this tough time. Bless you all and we love you bunches!

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine the pain that you are experiencing. However, Jehovah God is someone who always knows how you feel and wants to you bring you comfort and hope. His Word the Bible promises: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34 verse 18) I hope this brings some measure of comfort to you, knowing you have someone to depend on while you endure the pain.
