So sorry for your loss. Darnell and I were great friends at WCCH and outside the hospital when we got together at the grocery store. We always had a joke about diapers. We were both shopping for diapers, children the same age. She got the last box and she shared. Every time we met up even in our older age we'd ask each other if we were diaper shopping. I know she will be sorely missed.

Heaven has gained another angel.i met Darnell in the OR when i started at wcch. After talking we discovered we were family.We laughed and laughed at what a small world it is. She was very soft spoken and it was really a bad day if Darnell was
stressed.
I loved her and have been praying for her during this battle.I now pray for your comfort and peace.

Dearest Bo and family,
It is with great sadness in our hearts learning the news of Darnell’s passing. She always made us all feel welcomed and greeted us with a smile every time we came to Wytheville. Her grace and cheerful attitude in life will be something I will always remember about her. Our prayers are with you dear Bo, and we know how much you and your family will miss her. I knew Darnell years ago when we both worked at Wytheville Hospital & Sanitarium. She was such a sweet person & very competent. I am so very sorry to hear of her death. You have my sympathies & condolences for her loss. I’m so sorry. God’s peace be with you. (I was Starr Bivens then)
