I was blessed to grow up there in the neighborhood near Elmo & have so much love for him and the entire family. He was such a fine example of a good Christian man, father, husband, grandfather & was a wonderful influence on my early life. I have been living away from Wytheville for a long time - wish I had been able to see him more often over the years but certainly enjoyed seeing him when I did . My prayers to all the family during this difficult time, but as believers we know & look forward to when we will see Elmo again.
