Obituary of Helen Davidson Etter

Helen Davidson “Granny” Etter, age 91, of Wytheville, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. She was the daughter of the late John Adams & Eva Jane Lyons Davidson and was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Jackson and brother, John A Davidson. Granny is survived by her husband of 73 years, James “Rab” Etter Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie & Danny Jackson of Wytheville, Sue & Melvin Cregger of Wytheville; son, Jimmy Etter & Kathy, of Wytheville; sister, Shirley Blankenship, of Wytheville; brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Julie Davidson of Abingdon; 5 granddaughters, Carol, Melanie, Jennifer, Jamie, Jessica; 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 3 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by The Reverend  George Hamm, with interment to follow in the Berea Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Grubb Funeral Home.
