Obituary of Rebecca Susan Bowman Vance
Rebecca Susan “Becky” Bowman Vance, age 67, of Max Meadows, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Elbert Gleaves Sr. and Elizabeth Huffard Bowman. She is survived by her husband, Gerald H. Vance, Jr.; daughter, Laurie Peeples Dunford of Max Meadows; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Allison Peeples of Wytheville; step-daughter, Amy Black of Roanoke step-sons, Joe Vance & Christi Kirby of Wytheville, Chad Vance of Bristol; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Hampton Lazenby of Bluefield; numerous grandchildren also survive.
Memorial service will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Grubb Funeral Chapel, conducted by Pastor James Tunnell. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until service time. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
