Obituary of Richard Dale Ponn
Richard Dale Ponn age 54, of Wytheville, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was born June 30, 1964 to the late Russell Eugene Ponn, Jr. and Sherry Elaine Eaton Crigger. Richard was a beloved George Wythe employee and friend to many of the kids there.
Survivors include a host of friends and his George Wythe Family.
Funeral service will be held 12 noon on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Grubb Funeral Home with Reverend Buddy Dillow officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donation can be sent to Richard Ponn Memorial Scholarship Fund, 1 Maroon Way – Wytheville, VA 24382.
