Obituary of Carl Wayne King
Carl Wayne King, age 76, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday July 6, 2019. He was born in Elizabethan, TN on September 22, 1942 to the late Carl W. and Virginia Jenny Hardin King. Wayne was a Retired Capitan of the National Guard and a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Wytheville. He was a graduate from ETSU. He was retired from Wytheville Community College as a Drafting Professor. Wayne was preceded in death by his Adored wife Peggy Jo Lyons King.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Kincer of Wytheville; Grandmother to Matt and special friend to Wayne, Doris “Gran” Kincer, of Wytheville; and many beloved family and friends.
Graveside memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Gladesboro Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hillsville, VA with Reverend Lon Tobin officiating. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
