Obituary of Kenneth James Betz

SFC US Army Retired Kenneth “Jim” Betz, age 59, of Bland, formally of Colorado, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. He was the son of the late Gerald and Clara Betz and co-owner of the Wytheville Paper Clip. Jim was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Melissa Betz. He is survived by his wife, Susan Buck Betz of Bland; daughter, Michelle Williams & Fiance’ Ronnie Hall of Rocky Mount, VA.; grandchildren, Mason Williams, McKinleigh Williams, Mason Hall, Jerred Hall all of Rocky Mount, Va.; nieces & nephews, Jeremiah Betz, Sara Scott, Kelly Stobbe;Brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Lois Betz of Texas; sister & brother-in-law, Karen & Mark Stines of Indiana other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service and committal will be private. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
