Elizabeth Bowman Henderson, age 77, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Robert & Ethel Mabry Bowman. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters & son-in-law, Debra Lynn Kirby of Bland, Connie Sue Henderson of Salem, Tina Marie & Earnest Hyman of Salem; son, Gary Wayne Blair of Wythe County; brothers, Delana Bowman of FL., Hubert Bowman of Richmond; grandchildren, Cody Kirby, Jimmy Elkins, Shannon Tench, Morgan Flinton; stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Hyman, Nick Hyman; great grandchildren, Levi Flinton, Jayden Flinton; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Aubrey Whitlow with interment to follow in Mt. Mitchell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 AM until service time.
