Obituary of Ernest Byron Viars

Ernest Byron Viars 42 of Wytheville passed away December17, 2020. Ernest was born September 24, 1978 in Wythe County to the late Gary “Peck” Viars and Cathy Smith Viars. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Junior Marzell Viars and Mina Sue Porter Viars, Maternal grandparents Roy Ernest Smith, Sr., and Alma Hudson Smith. Ernest is survived by two sisters and their companions…. Amanda L. Viars and Pete Sisk of Austinville, Va. and Kelsey L. Viars and Dylan Fariss of Charlotte, NC. He was a loving uncle t two nieces… Makynzee L. Viars of Wytheville and Mariah Oaklyn Fariss of Charlotte, NC. A nephew, PFC Gavyn C, Viars USMC Camp Lejeune, NC and adopted nephew Jordan Hernandez of Wytheville, Va. Ernest was blessed to have loving aunt’s and uncle whom he cherished. Connie “AC” and Gary Arnold of Wytheville, Mechelle “Mitsy” and Jason King of Max Meadows, Va. Donald and Debbie Viars also of Max Meadows. Many friends and extended family. What can I say??? My brother was one of a kind. He never met a stranger, and he had a heart of gold. He loved his family ad his fur baby Bell Bell. Ernest lived life to the fullest and he loved BIG!
