Obituary of Samuel Mark Brown

Samuel Mark Brown, age 86, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. He was the son of the late James & Maggie Hale Brown and attended the Wytheville Baptist Church. Samuel was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ida Cook, Isabelle Brown; 4 brothers, Robert Brown, Walter Brown, Dave Brown, James Brown. He is survived by his daughter, Rayne Brown of Wytheville, and other children; sisters, Agnes Rogers, Stella Hale both of Wytheville; special cousin Sue Patterson of Wytheville; special nephews, Timothy Cook, Joseph Cook of Wytheville. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Pastor Timothy Irving. The Wytheville Baptist Church has prepared a meal for the family at Church following the service. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
