Obituary of Jerry Allen Stuart

Jerry Allen Stuart age 74, of Speedwell, passed away on Saturday July 31, 2021. He was born on January 17, 1947 to the late Gilmer Ray and Henrietta Holliday Stuart. Jerry was veteran having served 14 years in the United States Airforce. He taught school for 25 years in Bland and Grayson County. Jerry was a avid UVA fan and a movie nut. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Keith Stuart; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Michelle; daughter, Tracy Stuart; grandson, Dalton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Pastor Doug Stuart and wife Linda; Mickey and Wife Margie; Betty Paschal; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Hale; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the St. Peters Cemetery with the Reverend Doug Stuart officiating. There will be no visitation.
