Obituary of William Sandrel Ferguson
William Sandrel Ferguson born October 16, 1945, to Perry Ferguson and Clara Masie Glass in Columbia, Tennessee.
It is with great sorrow to announce that he passed on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at his home in Wytheville. He is survived by his loving daughters, Kira and Shannon, as well his distant daughters, Kimmy and Lisa, his grandchildren, Ashlie Morrigan and Towen and his only great grandson Grayson, his only living sister, Donna Davis, Uncle Ezel Glass, nephew Perry and many more nieces, and nephews, great nieces, and nephews, his best friend and racing buddy R.K. Dix and Patrick as well as his stepdaughters, Sandy and Susan, their children and his little Jack Russell Tia.
He was born on his great grandmothers 100th birthday. Already that made him special. He was the most amazing father, husband, and friend.
Whether big or small he left an impact on everyone he encountered and made lifelong friends with everyone he met. He was the best father, stepfather and role model to his children, stepchildren, and the most wonderful husband to his wife.
He wore his heart in a pocket on his sleeve, he was intelligent, funny, sensitive, caring and most of all he gave without expectations. He lived life to the fullest. He raced his heart out to the end. He will be missed more then he would know by more people than he could have imagined. He was a superman! He was a hero to many. We love you DAD, popoop and uncle. You’re with the love of your life now in heaven. We will see you again in another lifetime.
