Obituary of Henry Stuart Warden

Henry Stuart Warden, age 75 of Max Meadows, Virginia, born October 2, 1946, went to his heavenly home on October 31, 2021. He served his country in the United States Army from 1966-1968 taking a tour in Vietnam. He served his Lord and Savior faithfully as a member of Fellowship Baptist Church directing the congregational singing and the church choir for many years and was a vital part of their Truck Stop ministry. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, always very grateful for God’s blessings, willing to give a helping hand, and share a hearty laugh. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Woodrow and Virginia Warden, his brother, Everett Warden and his son, Tony Warden. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joan, Daughter & Son-in-Law, Teresa & Jason Severs, Daughter-in-law, Rebecca Warden, grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole) Warden, Danielle Warden, Garret (Aly) Warden, Lauren Warden, Jonathan Severs, Nathanael Severs, Andrew Severs, Timothy Severs, Great Grand Child, Bentley Warden, Sisters and Brothers -In-Laws, Geneva (Steve) Caldwell, Becky (Johnny) Edmonds, and many nephews, nieces, and extended family. Funeral service will be held 2P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Andrew Davis, with interment to follow at Draper Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery. American Legion Post # 9 will conduct Military graveside rites. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Family Life Center.
