Obituary of "Peggy" Wanda Coleman

“Peggy” Wanda Coleman, age 83, passed away, Wednesday, November 3, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Robert & Leona Arnold Harmon, preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Coleman, two sisters, Mary Frye, Sarah Frye, and brother Bruce Harmon. Peggy was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Rural Retreat. She is survived by two daughters & son-in-law, Vanessa & Jack Rutherford of Rural Retreat, Va. Christy Coleman of Piney, Va., son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Doris Coleman of Piney, Va. brother & sister-in-law, Barry & Joann Harmon, Piney, Va. grandson, Chris Coleman of Piney, special niece & nephew, Sharon Jones, Tim Burnett. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held 11AM, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Sharon Baptist Church in Rural Retreat, conducted by Pastor Jack Rutherford, with interment to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Piney, Va. The family will receive friends from 10AM until service time.
