Obituary of Elizabeth Umberger Ingo

Elizabeth “Libby” Umberger Ingo age 77, of Wytheville passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021. Libby was born in Wythe County to the late Howard Peyton and Betty Harris Umberger on August 8, 1944. Libby was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and a retired from Wythe County Public Schools as Cafeteria Supervisor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Garland Lee Ingo and a grandson Kolby Lee Ingo. Libby was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, H.S. and Kim Ingo; two granddaughters Kailey and Makenzie Ingo all of Wytheville; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and Libby’s special friends. Funeral Service will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Fairview United Methodist Church with the Reverend Aubrey Whitlow and the Reverend Ted Anders officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Grubb Funeral Home.
