Obituary of Daniel Clinton Stroupe

Daniel Clinton “Boone” Stroupe age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 surrounded by his family. Boone was born on January 16, 1947 on Wythe County to the late Lewis Zeigler and Nora Belle Stroupe. He was a United States Army Veteran and a retired Contractor. Survivors include his wife, Sandra G. Stroupe of Wytheville; two daughters and son-in-law, Missy Neal of Rocky Gap; Teresa and Terry Osborne of Independence; three grandchildren, Logan Nester and Sarah; Lucas Nester; Kayla Osborne; great granddaughter; Claire Nester; sister, Joyce “Sissy” Stroup of Wytheville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewis “Buster” and Nancy Stroup of Wytheville; David and Carrie Stroup of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. Per Boone’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers the family request donation to Berea Christian Church Cemetery Fund or the Independence Volunteer Fire Department.
