Obituary of Eldridge Walter Reynolds, III

Eldridge Walter “Dubbs” Reynolds III, age 47, of Wytheville, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Dubbs was a loving dad, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was witty and funny and loved to make people laugh. Dubbs was so smart and talented and could work on anything. He loved spending time outdoors mowing grass, weed eating, cutting wood, repairing chainsaws, four-wheelers, lawnmowers, you name it. And talk about a firebug, he loved burning brush piles! So much that the fire department was called at least once to help when it went outside its boundaries. Dubbs was one of a kind and will be missed immensely. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldridge Walter Reynolds, Jr. Dubbs is survived by his sons, Ethan Reynolds of Rural Retreat, Evan Reynolds of Rural Retreat; mother, Patty Reynolds of Wytheville, sister & brother-in-law, Tammy & Larry Keith of Austinville; nephews, Tanner & Carrie Keith of Austinville, Connor Keith of Austinville; special cousin, Jeff & Mickey Callahan of Wytheville. A memorial service will be held 7 P.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Jeff Callahan.
