Obituary of Bertha Lee Sawyers Catron

Bertha Lee Sawyers Catron, age, 88 of Wytheville, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Effie Sawyers. Bertha was a member of Mt. Ephriam Unted Methodist Church and preceded in death by her husband, William R. Catron, Sr.; sons, Jeff Catron and Terry Catron. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, William R. Catron, Jr. & spouse, Connie of Rural Retreat; special caregivers, Kathy Anderson of Wytheville, Mary Lawrence of Wytheville; special friend, Rick Garrison of Wytheville; four grandchildren also survive. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Mt. Ephriam Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Aubrey Whitlow.
