Obituary of Lewis Harvey, Jr.

Lewis Harvey, Jr. departed this life on June 25, 2022. Lewis was born on January 13, 1931, to the late Lewis and Alice Harvey. He was a cook for Shoney’s for 17 years and loved cooking for his family and friends. Lewis loved sitting on his porch in the sun eating watermelon. He was married to Carolyn P. Harvey for 55 years with 3 children, Anita Huffman, Stephanie & (James) Dean and Stacy Brown; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Lewis is flying high like the birds. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday June 30, 2022, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Shelly Kyle. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 P.M. until service time.
