Obituary of Richard L. Elvetici

Richard (Dick) L. Elvetici, a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps entered eternal rest on July 16th, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his parent’s Lawrence and Irene Elvetici of Negaunee, Michigan. A daughter Virginia Irene and brothers George and Ronnie. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy H., son and daughter-in-law Robert and Mendy, daughter and son-in-law Diana and Thomas Truitt. Brother and sister-in-law Larry and Maryanne, brother and sister-in-law John and Wendy. Seven Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Richard proudly worked 32 years for American Screw Company (Wytheville) and Raycarl Camcar (Elk Creek) both a division of Textron. A longtime member of United Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Friday July 22, 2022, in Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Harvey Atkinson, with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. American Legion Post #9 will conduct Military graveside rites. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until service time.
