Obituary of Donald Gene Brewer

Donald Gene Brewer age, 71, of Speedwell, passed away on September 5, 2022. He was born on August 24, 1951, to the late Aubrey and Hattie Kane Brewer. Don was a retired Salesman from Bob Huff Chevrolet and was an avid Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by Eight siblings, Jimmy, Ray, Roy, Bobby, Ruby, Virginia, Betty and Pete. He survived by his wife of 38 years Sharon Simpson Brewer of Speedwell; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Brien Owens of Cripple Creek; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Ann Brewer of Crockett; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Peyton, Lilly, Grace, Lucas, Lydia, Caden, Colton, Fox and Everleigh; great granddaughter, Jocelyn; sister, Sue Brewer of Speedwell; brother and sister-in-law, Butch and Patty Brewer of Speedwell; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Stuart and the Reverend Dean Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Speedwell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the service on Thursday at the Grubb Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Speedwell Cemetery Fund.
