Obituary of Wendy Denise Porterfield Wright
Wendy Denise Porterfield Wright went to be with her mom and grandmother in a better place on September 19, 2022. She was a well-traveled, loved by many, a woman who didn’t let anything stand in her way. Her life was centered around family especially her daughters and grandchildren. She lived and worked in many places in her life as in Las Vegas, Tybee Island Ga, Orlando Fl, in hotel management, she loved her job at a Nascar racing school and as a tour bus tour guide. She was happy and content with her life exploring in different adventures and enjoying different experiences.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda and her grandmother Edna. She is survived by daughter Allison Wright, Daughter Alicia Wright, grandsons CJ and Jordan King, dad Fred Heldreth, sister Carrie Lynn Heldreth, sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Chris Penley, aunt and uncle Susie and Jack Shinault, aunt and uncle Bob and Kay Porterfield. Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many good friends who were all supporters during her battle.
In light of a funeral Wendy request a party to celebrate her life no tears should he shed only laughter and fun as she wanted.
Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2022, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rural Retreat.
