Obituary of Pattie Canoles Waller

Pattie Canoles Waller was born December 31, 1944 in Charleston, WV to D Earle and Freddie Canoles. She was the third of four children. She passed away at home on Wednesday October 19, 2022. She has resided in Wythe County since 1977. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and a brother Joseph Canoles all of Georgia. She is survived by a sister Jeanne Conquest of Chincoteague, VA and a brother and his wife J David Canoles and Rebecca Trexler of Charlottesville, VA. Two sons William “Bill” Waller and David and Jennifer Waller of Florida, and a daughter Denise and Kem Dunford of the home. She has 6 grandchildren Tiffany Dunford, James Waller and wife Tinsy, Matthew Waller, Hunter Waller, Evan Waller and Shane Dunford. In addition, she has 2 great grandchildren Bentley Harmon and Madi Waller. She was an avid dancer and belonged to 2 dance clubs in the 1980’s, square dance and round dance. She enjoyed spending time with her family here in Wythe County and in Florida. Her family will receive family and friends on Wednesday October 26, 2022 from 6-7pm at Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church with a memorial service to follow.
