Obituary of Randolph "Randy" Shelton

Randolph “Randy” Mason Shelton age 66, of Wytheville, passed away on December 26, 2022. He was born in Wythe County on December 12, 1956 to the late Conrad Mason and Eva King Shelton. Randy was a graduate of George Wythe High School class of 1975. He was retired from Merillat Corporation with over 30 years of service and a lifelong farmer Survivors include his wife, Carol King Shelton of Wytheville; daughter, Amanda Shelton of Wytheville; son, Randolph “Bubba” Shelton, Jr of Wytheville; aunt, Mary Catherine King of Wytheville; special cat “Munchkin”. A funeral service will be held 2 P.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Alderman officiating. Interment will follow in the New Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday at the Grubb Funeral Home.
