Obituary of Connie Lynn Sprinkle

The Angels came to take 67 year old Connie Lynn Sprinkle to Heaven to be with Jesus. Connie was born in Greenville, TN to the late Harlin Smith and Roxy Joan Scalf Bowman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Bowman; sister, Pam Bowman. She was a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran where she served as a nurse. Connie specialized in Elderly care when she retired. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church where she loved her church family. Connie was a person who loved to care for people. She loved all people and worked to bring people to Jesus. She was also an organ donor and she talked to a lot of people about organ donors and shared that they were very important to save others lives. She also loved to sing, and she won many awards for this. Connie is probably singing to Jesus and his angels now in Heaven. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Terry of Wytheville; daughter, Tara Grubb of Bristol, TN; grandson, Clayton Harlin Grubb; granddaughter, Mia Grace Grubb; brother, Carlis Bowman; sister Lourie Sanders; several nieces and nephews. Per Connie’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
