Papaw, we didn't spend too much time together, but the time we did spend was memorable. I remember running to catch up to you and Lady as you were going out on a hunt and you allowed me to come along. You always cared about what was going on in my life whether or not it made sense to you at all. The stories my Mom tells of you makes me yearn for more about you. A simple man doesn't need much explaining but a simple man can also do so much for those he leaves behind. I'm grateful for the woman you helped raise that eventually became my mother because family is the one thing that intills such life lessons in each of us. In a way I will always be a part of you. I love you always.
