Richard, so sorry to hear about Ellen, but I know she had suffered in recent years, but will no longer. Lots of memories over the years: Wythe High and my aunt being a cheerleader swimming lessons at the community pool there by the high school Watts and staying with her sometimes to get away from Duke rushing across Durham the day of your wedding to retrieve the wedding ring visiting you all in Hawaii and then in Emerald Isle and then in Schaumberg(never made it to Arizona) last time we were together as she visited after mom's birthday. We will see you this summer in Wytheville... Love, Susan and Steve

To Richard: Please know that it is with heartfelt sympathy to hear of the passing of Elllen. Ellen and I formed a relationship when she worked next door to me at the ENT Dr. Office, and later when she came to work with me at Dr. Rules’office. I have often thought of her and wondered where she was and how she was doing. Richard i appreciate the knowledge and the experience i gained working with her. May Ellen Rest In Peace, and my condolences to you, her sisters and Ellen’s extended family. May the Lord Jesus comfort you all.

Rick, we are so sorry to learn of Ellen's passing. It seems like only yesterday, we were gathering at Jordan's Seafood after town board meetings to discuss the trials and tribulations of Emerald Isle. Ellen was a truly delightful lady. We built a house in Morehead City about 10 years ago; it was just time to get off the beach. Please let us hear from you! send me an email and I will send you our contact information. Jesse

Rich, I am very sad to learn of Ellen’s death. I have thought of her often over the years. Her great smile & wit helped busy days easier. She was my friend & co worker. Reading of her pulmonary disease I realized you how hard her life had become. No words will ease that. Rich if you are ever back in NC please let us know. We would love to see you. I have fond memories of Ellen and Emily visiting together. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had not seen her in years, but she usually showed up at the Riggle Family Reunions. My sincere sympathy to Richard, Doris and Jane. Love, Mary
