I was in Mrs. Jennings's 1977-78 5th grade class at Austinville Elementary. She was an exceptional influence in my life that year and for many years to come. Her impact has remained with me throughout my life, and her voice is still a reminder of living life well. I have many wonderful memories from 5th grade and of Mrs. Jennings. Mrs. Jennings was my 5th grade teacher at Austinville Elementary. She had so much grace and elegance. She left such an impression on me. I think she knew I needed someone to give me a little attention in my life back then. I have thought of her often through the years. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very special lady.
